Yes, the East Cape is ideal for observers as there are loads of non-hunting activities to enjoy.

Do I need any “shots”?

No, the East Cape is a malaria free area, and no other vaccinations are required for visiting South Africa.

When is the best time to hunt?

The summer months can be extremely hot. The best times to hunt in the East Cape would be between April and September.

Are there any snakes?

It is very rare that any snakes are encountered as it is generally cool during the preferred hunting period of the year.

Where do I fly to?

You will fly to Johannesburg and then connect to Port Elizabeth where you will be met at the airport.

Does it rain often?

The Eastern Cape falls in an area that can expect both summer and winter rainfall. It will be advisable to bring some sort of waterproof jacket. Normal averages will show at least 2 to 3 rainy days per month.
